StandOut Transitional Housing, by Breaking Barriers to Build Purpose, provides safe, supportive housing for young women transitioning out of foster care and single mothers working toward independence. Our program combines life skills training, career readiness, and personal development to help each resident build stability and long-term success. We empower young women to break barriers, rebuild confidence, and stand out as strong, self-sufficient leaders in their communities.

We provide the bridge between foster care and full independence.
"Studies show that nearly 50% of youth who age out of the foster system experience homelessness within 18 months."

We provide guidance and support so young mothers can thrive, not just survive.
"Among young women who age out of foster care, approximately 70% become pregnant by age 21."

We open doors to education so dreams don’t stop at high school.
“Less than 5% of young people who age out of foster care earn a four-year college degree at any point in their lives.”
